The vast majority of Town & Country designs were engraved on Zippos with a high-polish finish. The application of the paint gradually evolved from painting by hand to silkscreen-type processes through the 1960's, 1969 is the last year of manufacture of so-called "Town & Country" models, most notable one being the Apollo 11 Moonlanding Zippo.

1961 Zippo with an Orchid. 1966 slim Zippo for the City of Miami - The Torch of Friendship dedicated to Friendship. 1957 Zippo with a hand painted design of King Neptune with his trident and consort Queen Amphitrite. This image is also found on Navy Zippos commemorating the Shellback initiation ceremony. 1946-47 Zippo with T&C engraved initials "GDH". 1955 Zippo with initials CMR.
