Show Biz Zippos
Zippos were often used by movie studios and Hollywood celebrities as gifts to the cast and crew.
1981 slim red Ultra Lite Zippo with "Love & Thanks, Burt" from Burt Reynolds, a top box office movie star. 1969 slim Zippo engraved for Ace " From The Thief, Thanks, Bob Wagner". Robert Wagner starred in the action television series "It Takes a Thief" which originally ran from 1968-1970.
1955 Zippo engraved with "Best
Wishes Janet Leigh and Natlynn" and a colorful movie camera and dress dummy. Janet Leigh is best known for her leading role in the
Alfred Hitchcock's classic 1960 movie thriller "Psycho".
1950's 10K Gold-filled Zippo with Lucy and Desi for Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz of the "I Love Lucy" Show which was one of the top television series during the 1950's. The reverse is engraved "For Beautiful, Bountiful Barbara". To the right is a 1949-51 Zippo with the famous RCA logo with Nipper the RCA Dog listening to a gramophone with"His Master's Voice and "Regards - Dinah Shore on the reverse. Dinah Shore (1916-1994) was a singer and television actress who was the first woman to host her own television show. She recorded over 70 hit songs and started The Dinah Shore Show in 1951 and hosted a number of talk shows through the 1970's. She also founded the Dinah Shore Classic in 1972.

1954-55 Zippo engraved with "Thanks Dean and Jerry" on the lid. The faces are those of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin a famous comedic duo who worked together from 1946-54. Tiffany & Co 925 Sterling lighter from Italy engraved with "Carroll Baker , Harlow, 1965". Carroll Baker was a screen goddess who starred in the 1965 movie "Harlow" a biography of the life and career of screen star Jean Harlow. 1951 Zippo for 20th Century Fox - In Appreciation Glenn Norris Atlantic Division Mgr. 20th Century Fox is the result of a merger in 1935 of William Fox' Fox Studios and Daryll Zanuck's Twentieth Century Studios.
