Whether or not the Zippos shown below are sexist, or
"politically incorrect", there is little doubt that standards in the
21st Century have changed. While there are many artistic Zippo
designs celebrating the beauty of the female form, a
scantily clad female as an object in non-lifestyle advertising is rarely
seen today.
This 1953 Zippo advertises "Well Stacked Equipment Mfg.
Inc." Well stacked indeed!
What kind of bodies did the M&M Body Repair on this 1972
Zippo seek to work on? Doesn't look like a car body!
