Refrigerator Zippos
The first home refrigerator was introduced by the General Electric Company in 1911. Kelvinator and Servel models were introduced to the U.S. market in 1916. In the 1920's and '30's, consumers were introduced to freezers. Mass production of modern refrigerators didn't get started until after World War II. Innovations like automatic defrost and automatic ice makers were introduced in the 1950's and 60's, and today refrigerators are basic appliances in almost every home.
