This is a rare and unusual 1934 Zippo with an original outside hinge and an early metallique logo for the Champion, which is named after Albert Champion, a French immigrant who started Champion Ignition Company in 1904 to produce spark plugs. The lighter still has most of the original paint.

1976 Zippo C.B. Operator "Got Your Ears on Good-Buddy?"  Citizen Band radio usage was at its peak in the late '70's and early '80's.

 

1950 Zippo advertising the Allstate Guardsman Tire. 1955 advertising Sears Allstate Truck Tires. (Comm. Premium-Highway-Express Hauler-Extra Deep Tread-Low Bed Trailer - Rugged Lug - Logger-Rock) 1948 Goodyear Zippo with attached emblem. The emblem reads  "Goodyear 50th Anniversary The Greatest Name in Rubber".  Goodyear was founded in 1898 and was named after Charles Goodyear, the discoverer of rubber vulcanization.
